The articel talks about an issue that i have faced at one point in my life, where i had to translate from Arabic to English literally and the sentence would be "broken" or "fractured" in the same way Amy's mother did. The reason could be that we hang on to our original language, or it could be that we dont know enough English and we try to cover up by using english word with our first language's grammer. It could cause confusion if one is not used to this, he wouldn't be able to understand. the way to undo this is by realising the diffrence between the languages you speak. you need to break them down and understand their grammer. And with time one would be able to do it.
Q1: How can family affect the language of an individule?
Q2: How can you fix your fractured language based on your own experience?
