The Future of Reading is Backlit and Bright.

I've read the article and i think that it has more than one valid point. There are more people in the world right now who dont read. but people are switching to e-books and cell phone comics and other generated text. Some people might not agree and think that it is not the same, and that books should be on printed on paper. On the other hand others think that this is easier and that this is the evoloution of books.
I agree with both sides. I think that when an author writes a book he puts a little bit of himself writing those pages. he feels his emotions transforming into words. its not the same feeling you get when you write on a computer. seeking the book is also half the experience, you have to really want it to read it. and after that while touching the paper and reading the words somehow you are able to enjoy it more than sliding sideways. I am a person of science though, and i believe in evoloution of technology. E-books are not bad, they presented the laze society of nowadays with a chance to grab hundreds of copies of books, news papers, comics and magazines. so in the end e-books are helpful, but we must not forget what its like to read a book.

Q1: which one do you enjoy more and why?
Q2: why do you read books? does it matter if it was on paper or a screen?
